The 100% Principle
For successfully settled contributions that are not refunded, reversed or charged back, TouchYourWorld does not deduct a platform percentage.
Each $1 Contribution Touch you use is allocated in full to the Story you choose.
A $10 purchase gives you 10 Touches, which you can allocate across eligible Stories or all to one.
Standard payment-processing fees are initially funded separately and are not deducted from those Story allocations.
Payment funds are collected, processed and settled by Stripe. Touches are credited only after Stripe confirms payment.

Of eligible Contribution allocation — not a guarantee that every dollar arrives in a beneficiary bank account after fees, FX, tax, verification or provider rules.

Payment safeguards
Controls behind every payout.
Fun on the surface. Serious financial controls underneath. Payments are processed by Stripe, and recipients are verified through Stripe Connect before eligible funds can be paid out.
Verified through Stripe Connect
Before receiving a payout, recipients must complete Stripe Connect verification, including the identity, business and banking requirements applicable to their account.
Payments processed by Stripe
Contribution payments are collected and processed securely by Stripe. TouchYourWorld does not store full card numbers.
Verified payout account
Payouts can only be made through Stripe Connect to an approved payout account belonging to the verified recipient or legal entity.
Eligibility confirmed before payout
Completing a Story, reaching a target or winning a campaign does not automatically trigger payment. TouchYourWorld first confirms that the Story and its allocated funding are eligible for payout.
Stripe takes the payment. Stripe Connect verifies the recipient. TouchYourWorld verifies the entitlement. Only then can a payout happen.
Refunds, reversals, chargebacks, failed verification and unsuccessful payouts follow the Contribution, Cancellation and Refund Policy, applicable law and Stripe’s procedures. Unused purchased Contribution Touches are not automatically allocated or redistributed after a fixed period.
Sponsored funding
Two ways sponsors participate.
Sponsored Touches
A sponsor funds Touches through the partner-approved TouchYourWorld CIC social-purpose arrangements. Members use them on eligible Contribution Stories.
Sponsored Vote Campaigns
A sponsor funds a campaign award. TouchYourWorld records the Vote Touches, determines the result and verifies the winner before the payment-services partner pays the approved recipient.
Sponsor funds are not paid directly to winners outside the partner-approved arrangements.
Keeping things separate
Doing good and making money don’t have to be the same transaction.

TouchYourWorld CIC
Community Interest Company for social-purpose activity, including user Contribution money and sponsor-funded Story and campaign money.

Builds and operates the technology platform and earns revenue separately through:
- Commercial sponsorship agreements
- Brand partnerships
- Advertising
- Technology and platform services
Funds standard processing fees separately during the initial period.
