2013
The idea begins
TouchYourWorld began as an idea about people doing something positive in their own worlds — helping someone, surprising someone, backing a dream or simply creating a little bit of magic.
We wanted to call it TouchYourWorld, but we couldn’t acquire TouchYourWorld.com. So the original concept was launched under another name: JellyFromMe.
The heart of the idea was right. The name wasn’t.

The name finally becomes ours
Nearly a decade later, we acquired TouchYourWorld.com from HugeDomains for $3,795.
The platform still had to be built, but the idea finally had the name and home it was always meant to have.

2023
The idea comes back to life
As Founder, Romeo completed a certificate in Disruptive Technologies at Harvard Business School, which brought the original JellyFromMe idea back into focus.
Technology had changed, the possibilities had grown, and we could finally see how TouchYourWorld could become a real global platform.

Thirteen years later
Thirteen years after the original idea, TouchYourWorld is finally becoming what it was always meant to be: a happy place where people can Care, Share, Dream — and above all, have fun.
The website is new. The idea isn’t.

Banking infrastructure established
TouchYourWorld Technologies Ltd established its business banking infrastructure for company operating payments and expenses.
Wise Business account verified and activated.

TouchYourWorld CIC established its operational banking infrastructure, completing an important part of the organisation’s financial setup.
Operational banking account approved and activated.

Stripe & Stripe Connect approved
TouchYourWorld completed approval for Stripe and Stripe Connect, establishing the payment and recipient payout infrastructure behind the platform.
Stripe payments and Stripe Connect approved for live operation.

Romeo Dickason
Romeo first developed the TouchYourWorld concept in 2013. Since 2014, he has also helped build TMS Dynamics, a successful South African technology company. TouchYourWorld combines more than a decade of business-building experience with an idea he has never stopped believing in.

Who operates TouchYourWorld
TouchYourWorld operates through two related entities:
TouchYourWorld CIC
TouchYourWorld CIC is a Community Interest Company for social-purpose activity, including user Contribution money, sponsor-funded Story and campaign money, and beneficiary and campaign-winner purposes.
TouchYourWorld Technologies Ltd
Builds and operates the technology platform and commercial activities such as sponsorship agreements, brand partnerships, advertising and technology services. Technologies initially funds standard payment-processing fees separately from Story funds.
Payment funds are collected, processed and settled by Stripe. TouchYourWorld does not store full card numbers. TouchYourWorld does not operate a bank account or withdrawable cash balance for members. See How It Works and Transparency for the full model.
