This notice explains how TouchYourWorld uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage optional categories.

1. About cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. TouchYourWorld uses them for security, session continuity and - only if you allow - analytics and external media.
Optional cookies are off until you choose Accept all or enable them under Manage preferences / Cookie Settings. Rejecting optional cookies does not block ordinary use of the site.
This notice describes the cookie controls currently implemented on TouchYourWorld and will be updated as the service and applicable requirements evolve.
2. Necessary cookies
These are required for the site to work securely and may load without optional consent:
- session cookies (for example JSESSIONID);
- CSRF and security tokens;
- remember-me / login convenience cookies where you choose that option;
- PWA and service-worker storage needed for install and offline shell behaviour; and
- Google reCAPTCHA where used for anti-abuse and security on forms.
reCAPTCHA is treated as necessary security / anti-abuse functionality, not as optional analytics marketing.
3. Analytics cookies
If you allow Analytics, TouchYourWorld may load Google Analytics on non-local environments to understand aggregate site use.
Analytics scripts and events do not load until Analytics consent is given. You can withdraw that consent later through Cookie Settings.
4. External-media cookies
If you allow External media, TouchYourWorld may load privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds (youtube-nocookie.com where used) and similar third-party players.
Until External media consent is given, embeds are replaced with a placeholder so you can allow media when you want to watch.
5. Managing your choices
Use the on-site banner or the footer link Cookie Settings to:
- Accept all optional cookies;
- Reject optional cookies; or
- Manage Analytics and External media separately.
TouchYourWorld stores a consent version, selected categories and an acceptance timestamp in your browser so preferences can be respected on later visits.
